My New Site

My new art site is www.deepdishart.com. Both the name and the site will change in time. It’s a very basic site. I was able to work from a template and put the stuff up myself. This has given me the freedom to think through what I want on the site, gather the work together and arrange it in an order that makes sense to me.

It was an interesting process because I found I have a lot of art that just didn’t need to go up. I want to focus on new work and that is evolving—more rapidly than I expected. So, this is a work in progress, like so many these days it seems, but something that has given me a lot of pleasure to compose. Hope you enjoy it too. I will be posting new art there regularly.

WOW…. how do you do it?? I’m so happy to see your new site. And is this the one you did yourself? Your work is exquisite. I feel lately I need to open up and embrace a larger world of creativity. Your site is a big boost. Thanks for that.

Woman, it looks great! Just think how a short time ago you didn’t have an inkling how to go about setting up a site, look at all you have learned! wheee!

Thank you, Kelly and Kathy! Have to say that anyone can do this sort of web design. It has its limitations but is very easy. I just chose a template at Yahoo and plugged stuff in. They’ve made it easy so even a novice like me can do it. Truly. And it’s super cheap. Yay!

And, ahem, many thanks again for the actual hard work you did Kelly getting Artwala Road up. Now that required some skill!
But I must say it’s great to demystify this tech stuff a bit and realize it’s not as complicated as it seems. It just opens things up a lot.

Hey, it looks great! Is it a website or a blog? It has sort of the look of both (which is a good thing!) because it invites you back. Good luck–it should be fun.

Thanks, Mary!  It’s a website but will change frequently.
