But why are the youth so soft and complacent? Are we as parents equally responsible for the blighted educational system? It is so disturbing that history has gone out the window along with language skills. Everyone seems to talk as if they're on television and sound like Oprah...('That's a GOOD thing...girlfrien') And they're the lucky ones. I'm always surprised when my visiting countrymen aren't aware, for example, that Northern Ireland is a separate country! And on and on.
