Well, Bob always arrives when we need him. Hang in there, mdf! Country retreat sounds blissful. I think we may need to do one next summer. We've become such city rats. :)

mdf,

Funny you should mention that. I'm waiting for a check and could use a Bob in my life next week when I discuss my council tax (in arrears) to the IRS man. At the moment, I've got the inestimable Marcus who generally unravels my furrowed brow over many an issue but he's crap with money. Not to worry...all will be well

I'm at the country retreat which is just so blissful. Little cows and sheep dotting the hillsides, bunny rabbits hopping about and a fox who strolled down the driveway. It's Tall Ships weekend in Falmouth (near Penzance) and I nearly went with a party but so glad I didn't when I saw the throngs of people on the news. My claustrophobia has increased with my advanced years.

Glad to have you back on blog!

Thank goodness for the Bobs of the world.
I was on the phone with a rep from a company trying to get tech support. Not only could I not hear her, but I couldn't understand her English, and she kept asking if she could put me on hold so she could ask someone. I finally told her that I could not understand her, could not hear her, and could not spend any more time talking to her. Where was Bob?
